To all of our instrumentalists and vocalists...
Situated in Taunton, the historic county town of Somerset, The Castle School is a popular and over-subscribed academy with an enviable record of academic success over many years. The surrounding area boasts a range of stunning landscapes whilst still offering excellent rail and road links. Somerset is a fantastic location for families. We are very family orientated as a school and children of staff are given priority in the allocation of places.
At The Castle School we are fortunate to have students who are motivated and enthusiastic about learning and taking part in the huge range of enrichment on offer. The Castle School Trust is committed to providing strong professional development support for all colleagues who work with us. As we have been designated as an academy sponsor, there are opportunities to build a fantastic CV working across The Castle Partnership Trust and within our Partnership of four secondary schools.
Thank you once again for your interest in our school. Please note, as part of our selection and shortlisting process, unless specified by applicants, it is school policy to call for references prior to interview. Regrettably, we cannot normally acknowledge applications; hence, if you do not hear from us shortly after the closing date, you may assume that you have not been successful in your application at this stage. However we do keep applications on file.
